A Drakes Island charmer just minutes away from sandy Drakes Island beach. A short 6 minute walk to the beach will have you sitting in the sun and the sand. The large newly updated screened porch is perfect for dining and lounging. This classic New England beach cottage has retained its original charm with a modern kitchen and new siding. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with pretty pine floors, ceiling fans, and a spacious bathroom.

"DevOcean" is a two-story cottage with all the comforts of home while you vacation at the beach. On the front of the cottage is a spacious screened porch. The first floor has a comfortable living room, an expansive open kitchen and dining area to seat six. The fully furnished kitchen provides stainless steel appliances. The kitchen boasts a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster-oven, drip coffee maker, kitchenaid mixer, and microwave. The living area has a TV with blueray player, a comfy couch, and cozy chairs. There is cable TV and wifi internet. A newly installed washer and dryer is available for your use.

The second floor of the cottage is comprised of three bedrooms and a bathroom with a claw foot tub. Each of the bedrooms has a full size bed, dresser, vaulted ceiling, small closet, and ceiling fan.

Outside there is a large backyard abutting the Rachel Carson Nature preserve, perfect for privacy and playing yard games. The shed on the property is perfect for storing your beach gear and your personal bicycle. There is a private outdoor shower on the side of the house.

This is the perfect spot for a few couples, a small family, or a few friends. Whip up pancakes and bacon each morning in the kitchen and spend a gorgeous day on Drakes Island beach building sandcastles, walking the jetty and swimming. Come home to sit on the front porch and play board games while the sun sets.
