This house is a perfect beach house in New England !!!! From the
screened in front porch that we enjoyed our evening cocktails on to the
outdoor shower. There is nothing better than an outdoor shower after
being at the beach all day. The kitchen is fully stocked with every type
of pot and pan to dishes , bowls and glassware. Can't wait to stay
there again.

Minutes to the beach

Location is great with just a short walk to the beach. The screened
front porch is a nice large outdoors living/dining place. Lots of games
to play also the shed is stocked with beach chairs and lawn games! We
had a wonderful time!

This cottage was beautiful and a traditional beach cottage. We loved the screen porch and the outdoor shower. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The location was great for us.

My sisters and I have stayed on Drakes Island every summer for 20+ years. Our regular rental was unavailable due to Covid. We found Abby and Dan's place online and glad we did. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything from towels, to an abundance of kitchen tools to beach items. Even a wagon. The screen porch is bright and spacious for eating, reading or games/puzzles. I sent a few questions to Abby and she replied very quickly each time. Very glad we stayed and would recommend the rental to anyone!

As good as advertised. We enjoyed our week immensely the screened porch was perfect for meals and hanging out free of mosquitos the bedrooms are all comfortable and the space overall was great for our group of 6. It's Maine so you have to be prepared for this but bring the bug spray - mosquitos when we were there were thick after a couple of dewy mornings!

We enjoyed our week at DevOcean - was the perfect cottage for our family. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. The house was well equipped and had everything one could ask for and more. We loved the outdoor shower and being able to relax on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee and a puzzle. We will definitely be back!!!

We have stayed in other properties on DI that were closer to the beach, but this proved to be the best one for our needs. Some of our family stayed on Fern Street, an easy walk, and another commuted from MA a few times. The spacious porch, the wonderfully equipped kitchen and the out-door shower were perfect! We would love to stay there again!
